The Contacts list
To open the Contacts List press Cmd-T. The contacts list integrates the notify and ignore functions with the address book, and it provides a convenient place to store settings that are specific to that particular person. For example, Snak allows you to selectively accept DCC transfers (see later chapter) and to assign a specific voice to a person.
When you select an item in the list and open it for editing you will see a dialog like this:

The contacts are separated by network since the person you know under a particular nick is probably not the same person that uses that nickname on a different network. The three tabs contains panels that contains the notify/address book, the ignore functions and individual settings respectively.

The person panel implements an address book where you can store someones real name, gender and age. You can also store short notes, the persons email address and preferred channels. If you enter a preferred channel you can join that channel by pressing the Channels: button. You can launch your email program by pressing the Email: button when an email address in provided.
